3. Identity Verification and Trust & Safety
Veloré is designed as a private, verified community. We may require members to complete identity or age verification before accessing certain features or maintaining an account.
Verification may involve government-issued identification, selfies, photographs, short videos, or other verification information. We may use automated systems, manual review, or specialized service providers to assist with identity verification, fraud prevention, account integrity, content moderation, and safety.
Verification materials and related information are used for legitimate identity, security, fraud-prevention, trust, safety, and compliance purposes. Access to this information is restricted according to its sensitivity and operational necessity.
4. Messages, Content, and Moderation
Veloré provides private communication and content-sharing features. Although these features are designed with privacy in mind, information transmitted through the Services may be processed when reasonably necessary to operate the service, investigate reports, prevent abuse, enforce our policies, comply with legal obligations, or protect members and others.
We may use automated systems and human review to identify suspected fraud, harassment, exploitation, threats, illegal activity, minor-safety risks, spam, scams, or other violations of our policies.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
Payments made through the Veloré website may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Payment processors receive the information necessary to process transactions and operate under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Veloré may receive information such as customer identifiers, transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription status, billing dates, payment-method type or brand, limited payment-method details such as the last four digits, refund information, dispute information, and related billing metadata.
Where purchases or subscriptions are made through an application marketplace or other third-party platform, that platform may process the payment and provide Veloré with transaction, subscription, receipt, and entitlement information.
6. How We Share Information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Other Members: Information you intentionally make visible through your profile or choose to share with another member.
- Service Providers: Vendors and service providers that assist with hosting, infrastructure, security, communications, analytics, identity verification, moderation, fraud prevention, payments, customer support, and other operational functions.
- Legal, Security, and Safety Purposes: When we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud or abuse; protect safety; or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
- Business Transactions: Information may be transferred or disclosed in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- At Your Direction: When you request, authorize, or consent to disclosure.
We do not authorize members to obtain, publish, distribute, or misuse another person's private information without authorization.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
Veloré may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics technologies, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, authenticate users, remember preferences, understand how the Services are used, measure performance, prevent fraud, improve security, and improve our Services.
Your browser or device may provide controls for certain cookies or similar technologies. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent some portions of Veloré from functioning correctly.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining transaction and account records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, enforcing our agreements, and protecting Veloré and its members.
Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information and the reason it is processed. Certain information may remain in backups, transaction records, security records, moderation records, audit logs, fraud-prevention systems, or records that we are legally permitted or required to retain after an account has been deleted.
9. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Veloré account through available account controls or by contacting us.
Account deletion does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record associated with an account. We may retain information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial recordkeeping, enforcement of our agreements, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, applicable law may provide rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information regarding certain processing or disclosures.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request. Some requests may be limited or denied where permitted by law, including when retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial recordkeeping, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal rights.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission, application, network, or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and should notify Veloré promptly if they believe their account has been compromised.
12. Adults Only
Veloré is intended exclusively for adults who are at least 18 years old. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to create or maintain Veloré accounts.
If we learn that an individual under 18 has created an account or provided personal information through the Services, we may suspend or remove the account and take appropriate steps regarding the associated information.
13. International Data Processing
Veloré and the service providers that support our operations may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your country or region.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate mechanisms or safeguards may be used for international transfers of personal information.

We may modify this Privacy Policy as Veloré evolves or as legal, regulatory, security, technical, or operational requirements change.
When material changes are made, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. The version published through Veloré's official Legal Center is the current version of this Privacy Policy.
